Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of trustspheretechnologies.com and the free assessment tools we publish on it. They are deliberately short and readable. They do not govern the 4sight or TrustCore platforms — if you are a customer, your signed agreement does that, and it prevails over anything here.

Effective 8 September 2026 Last updated 8 September 2026 Governing law India

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing this website or using any tool published on it, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" means both you and that organisation. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Who we are

TrustSphere Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Bengaluru, Karnataka ("TrustSphere", "we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at sales@trustspheretechnologies.com.

3. What these terms cover — and what they do not

These terms cover the public website, its content, and the free self-serve tools published on it, namely the Lightweight Cyber Risk Quantification tool and the CRQ Maturity Self-Assessment.

They do not cover:

  • the 4sight and TrustCore platforms, which are provided under a separate written agreement;
  • consulting, vCISO, training, bespoke development or platform-as-a-service engagements, which are governed by their own statements of work; or
  • any proposal, quotation or master services agreement we have signed with you.

Where a signed agreement between us conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins.

4. Acceptable use

You may use this site for lawful purposes — evaluating our products, assessing your own organisation's risk, and contacting us. You may not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure, or any connected system;
  • use automated means to scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site, other than well-behaved search engine crawlers obeying our robots.txt;
  • submit false, misleading or third-party contact details through our forms, or use them to send unsolicited or abusive content;
  • attempt to overwhelm, disrupt or degrade the site or the email infrastructure behind our forms;
  • reverse engineer, republish or commercially redistribute our assessment methodologies, calculators or content;
  • use our name, logo, or content in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or certification that does not exist; or
  • use the site to develop a competing product or service.
Security research is welcome

Clause 4 is not intended to prohibit good-faith security research. If you want to test this site, read our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy first — it tells you what is in scope, what is out of scope, and how to report what you find. Research conducted within that policy will not be treated as a breach of these terms.

5. The free assessment tools

This is the clause that matters most, so we will be direct about it.

The Lightweight CRQ tool and the CRQ Maturity Self-Assessment produce indicative estimates generated from the inputs you provide, using published risk-quantification methodology and our own modelling assumptions. Their output is a starting point for a conversation, not a finding.

What the output is not

An assessment result is not an audit, a certification, a penetration test, an actuarial valuation, an insurance underwriting opinion, or professional legal, financial or regulatory advice. It does not establish compliance with any framework, standard or regulation, and it must not be presented to a regulator, insurer, auditor or board as though it does.

Specifically, you acknowledge that:

  • Output quality depends entirely on input quality. The tools cannot validate what you type. Inaccurate inputs produce inaccurate results.
  • The models are simplifications. A lightweight tool run in a browser in a few minutes cannot capture the full risk profile of a real organisation. A full engagement can.
  • Results are point-in-time. They reflect the moment you ran the assessment and nothing after it.
  • You remain responsible for your own decisions. Any action you take on the basis of an assessment result — or any action you decide not to take — is yours. We accept no liability for it.

The tools are provided free of charge and we may change, limit or withdraw them at any time.

6. Content and accuracy

We put real effort into keeping this site accurate, including the regulatory summaries on our compliance pages. But regulation changes, threat intelligence dates quickly, and general guidance is not advice about your situation. Content on this site is provided for general information. Do not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.

Statistics, benchmarks and third-party research referenced on this site belong to their respective sources and are cited where used.

7. Intellectual property

The site and its contents — text, design, graphics, logos, the 4sight and TrustCore names and marks, our assessment methodologies, calculators, scoring models and report formats — are owned by TrustSphere Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or our licensors, and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law.

You may view, download and print pages for your own internal business evaluation. You may share a link to any page freely. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link back. You may not otherwise copy, adapt, republish, sell or exploit our content without written permission.

Third-party open-source components used on this site remain subject to their own licences.

8. What you send us

If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about our products, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use them without obligation or compensation to you. This is standard practice and it exists so that acting on a good suggestion does not create a claim. It does not apply to your confidential business information, your assessment inputs, or your personal data — those are handled under our Privacy Policy and any confidentiality terms we have agreed.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of everything you submit, including confirming that you are entitled to share any organisational information you enter into our tools.

9. Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party websites and loads components from third-party providers, including our email delivery provider, font provider and content delivery network — all of which are listed on our Trust Center. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

10. Availability

We aim to keep this site available, but it is a marketing website: we offer no uptime commitment for it, and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it without notice for maintenance, security or business reasons. Service levels for the 4sight platform are set out in customer agreements, not here.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and the free tools on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or its servers are free of harmful components. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustSphere Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — this website or its free tools, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.

Because this website and its tools are provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with them is limited to INR 10,000. This clause does not limit liability arising under a signed commercial agreement, which has its own liability terms.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrustSphere Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its personnel against any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.

14. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it — particularly section 4, which explains exactly what happens to the data you enter into the assessment tools.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the use of this website, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Before commencing proceedings, we ask that you contact us first — most issues are resolved faster by email than by litigation.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and the updated terms take effect when posted. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it. If a change is material, we will make that clear rather than relying on the date alone.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the unenforceable provision is applied to the maximum extent permitted.
