Key responsibilities
Requirements and analysis
- Run discovery sessions with clients and internal teams to understand business processes, pain points and goals.
- Map current-state and future-state processes, for example order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, risk assessment and audit workflows.
- Write clear BRDs, FRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Do gap analysis between client needs and OneOps or 4Sight capabilities, and propose configuration or custom builds.
Working with product and engineering
- Turn requirements into wireframes, process flows and data models the development team can act on.
- Help prioritise the backlog and take part in sprint planning, stand-ups and reviews.
- Answer developer questions on business logic and edge cases during the build.
Testing and delivery
- Write test scenarios and run user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients.
- Support implementations: data migration templates, configuration, go-live checklists.
- Prepare user guides, release notes and training material, and help train client users.
Domain and client support
- Learn the regulations and frameworks our clients work under, such as ISO 27001, RBI and SEBI guidelines, DPDP Act, NIST and SOC 2.
- Help pre-sales with demos, solution notes and responses to RFPs.
- Collect client feedback after go-live and turn it into improvement ideas.
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, commerce, business or a related field.
- 1–2 years as a Business Analyst, functional consultant or similar, ideally on a software product or implementation.
- Experience writing requirements documents, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to draw process flows and simple wireframes in tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, Figma or Balsamiq.
- Working knowledge of Excel and basic SQL to analyse data and check what a system is doing.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or ClickUp.
- Clear written and spoken English, and the confidence to run a meeting with a client.
- A structured, curious mind: you ask why until the real requirement is clear.
Good to have
- Exposure to ERP modules such as sales, inventory, procurement, HR, payroll or finance.
- Exposure to GRC, IT audit, cybersecurity or risk management, through work, internships or coursework.
- Domain experience in banking, insurance, NBFCs, fintech or other regulated industries.
- Certifications such as ECBA, CCBA, PSPO/CSPO, or ISO 27001 Foundation.
- Experience with low-code platforms, REST APIs or reporting tools such as Power BI.
- A second language useful in our markets, such as Hindi, Arabic, French or Swahili.
Why join us
- Work directly with a founder who has 20+ years in GRC and enterprise software, including implementations at some of the world’s largest banks and insurers.
- Learn two high-demand domains at once: ERP and governance, risk and compliance.
- Own features end to end in a small team, instead of one slice of a large project.
- Work on live projects with enterprises across India, Africa and the Middle East.
- Grow with the company as it scales, with a clear path to Senior BA, Product Owner or Functional Consultant.
